Experienced PRN Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Starting at $22.00/hourBoone Supported Living is seeking experienced and dependable Direct Support Professionals to join our team in a flexible PRN coverage role.This position is ideal for experienced DSPs who want scheduling flexibility while maintaining consistent part-time hours. PRN DSPs help cover available shifts based on the needs of the individuals we support and receive an increased starting wage of $22.00 per hour.What PRN Means at Boone Supported LivingOur PRN position is a flexible coverage role-not an on-call position and not an occasional one-shift-per-month position.PRN DSPs:Do not have permanently assigned or recurring weekly shiftsMust average at least 16 hours per week, calculated over each three-month periodSubmit their availability at least three weeks in advanceAccept or decline assigned shifts within 24 hoursMay be asked to support different homes or service areas based on organizational needsWork with our Scheduling team to select and coordinate available shiftsPay and IncentivesStarting PRN wage: $22.00 per hourAdditional medical and behavioral shift differentials may applyEligible employees may participate in DSP Apprenticeship wage increases and bonusesAdditional organizational incentives may be availableThe PRN rate includes a $3.25-per-hour premium above our standard DSP starting wage. This premium applies while the employee remains in the PRN position.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilitiesAssist with daily living activities, personal care, community participation, and household routinesAdminister medications as prescribed and document them accuratelyFollow individualized support plans, behavioral plans, and dietary requirementsComplete daily notes and other required documentationHelp individuals work toward personal goals and greater independenceMaintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environmentCommunicate effectively with individuals, coworkers, managers, and the Scheduling teamFollow all attendance, training, professional-development, and organizational requirementsMinimum QualificationsAt least six months of professional experience as a Direct Support Professional or in a comparable direct-care positionAbility to average at least 16 working hours per weekAbility to submit availability at least three weeks in advanceWillingness to work available shifts without a guaranteed recurring scheduleDependable transportation and the ability to report to assigned work locationsAbility to complete all required training and employment screeningsStrong communication, documentation, and time-management skillsA dependable, flexible, and team-oriented approachThis Position May Be a Great Fit If You:Have previous DSP or direct-care experienceWant flexibility without giving up consistent earning opportunitiesAre comfortable working in different homes and supporting different individualsCan plan your availability in advanceCommunicate reliably and respond promptly to scheduling requestsWant to earn a higher hourly rate by helping meet important coverage needsMake a Difference-and Earn More for Your FlexibilityPRN DSPs play an important role in maintaining dependable support for the individuals we serve.
