National Transaction Coordinator - Real Estate Job at Lexitas Legal Talent Solutions, New York, NY

  • Lexitas Legal Talent Solutions
  • New York, NY

Job Description

Our client, an established New York-based title insurance and settlement services provider, is seeking an experienced National Transaction Coordinator to support residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States outside of New York and New Jersey.

The National Transaction Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys, lenders, real estate professionals, settlement agents, underwriters, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. The role requires a strong understanding of national title and settlement practices, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple transactions across jurisdictions while maintaining outstanding client service.

This position represents an excellent long-term opportunity for a growth-oriented candidate. The company is well established and looking to expand its footprint. While management is involved closely in the business and understands the day-to-day challenges the team faces, employees have significant autonomy and work in a respectful and collegial environment.

The company offers highly competitive compensation and benefits, with a salary range of 90k-130k and up, depending on experience. This position ideally will be a hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site in Manhattan. However, the company will consider a remote arrangement for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential and commercial title and settlement transactions nationwide, excluding New York and New Jersey.

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, lenders, attorneys, real estate agents, title agents, escrow officers, and settlement providers.

• Manage files from opening through closing, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.

• Review title commitments, preliminary reports, closing instructions, and settlement statements for accuracy and completeness.

• Coordinate with local title and settlement agents in various jurisdictions to facilitate successful closings.

• Order and track title, municipal, tax, lien, and other due diligence searches as required.

• Monitor transaction status and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact closing timelines.

• Communicate regularly with clients and transaction participants regarding status updates, requirements, and outstanding matters.

• Coordinate funding and post-closing activities, including recording and policy issuance.

• Maintain complete, accurate, and organized transaction files.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, underwriter requirements, and applicable state-specific closing practices.

• Deliver a high level of customer service while managing multiple transactions simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of title, escrow, settlement, closing, or transactional real estate experience.

• Experience coordinating multi-state or national real estate transactions strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of title insurance, settlement procedures, and closing processes.

• Ability to navigate varying state-specific closing requirements and practices.
